Memorial services for Gary Madison McGraw of El Reno will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Town and Country Christian Church in the Fellowship Hall, located at 2200 S. Cornwell Drive in Yukon.  Cremation arrangements were made through Wilson Funeral Home.

Gary was born Nov. 10, 1948, in El Reno to his parents, Howard and Maxine McGraw. He graduated from El Reno High School and then joined the U.S. Army where he served two tours in Vietnam. He married Linda Pack in 1993 in El Reno.

Gary was a highly trained emergency medical technician and was a nationally renowned emergency vehicle operations instructor.

He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, National Rifle Association and Emergency Medical Technician Association, and served as an Oklahoma state representative for EMTs in 1995.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda (Pack) McGraw; his mother, Maxine Shelly; and his father, Howard McGraw.

He is survived by his sister, Priscilla Yarber and husband, James of Choctaw; daughter, Lizzy Floyd and husband, Robert of Alexandria, La.; along with a host of close friends and associates.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials be made to American Red Cross-Canadian Valley Chapter, Dept. #96-0397, Oklahoma City, Okla. 73196-0397.

    He was a special person. I loved him very much.
